JOHN BROCKMAN CRANE
Founder and CEO
John is married to Jean, and they both started Sagamore in 2009. He has served as a pastor, professor, and now as an Indiana State Senator. He enjoys hiking with his boys. His desire is to be used by God to bring Good to bear on culture. You can learn more about John here.
JEAN CRANE
Co-Founder and Director of Events
Jean is married to John and mother of four wonderful kids. Jean loves working with teenagers and enjoys watching the transformation occur in their lives when they fully surrender to Christ. She loves to travel and play every sport imaginable (except golf.)
JEFF HASTINGS
Executive Director
Jeff Hastings is responsible for the general operations of Sagamore and works with the Board of Directors and Founder, providing organizational and mission oversight to the organization. Jeff and his wife Kim have been married for 32 years and have three kids, Luke, Maclain, and Ashlyn. They are triplets and all graduated college in 2023.
JONATHAN MAYO
Director of Programs + Relationships
Jonathan Mayo serves as the organization’s connection to key supporters, schools, universities, and organizations. Mayo works to increase the number of students impacted by Sagamore’s programs across all ages. Jonathan and his wife Heather have been married for 21 years and have two kids, Austin and Ava. Both have participated in Sagamore Leadership events throughout high school, and are current college students.
KATHY KIMMERLE
Project Manager
After growing up in the magic capital of the world, Colon, MI, Kathy married James and moved to Avon, Indiana. They have two boys. Kathy volunteered with Sagamore before joining the team as Project Manager and recognizes the valuable work being done by Sagamore to raise up leaders who stand firm in truth and integrity.
AMY NIEMEYER
Events Coordinator
Amy is Sagamore's Energizer Bunny. She handles much of the day-to-day operations. Along with all this, she is a wife and mother. She, too, is involved in her children's schools.
